Veil Length Advise

1. Veils are normally made from a circle of tulle.
2. A quoted length of e.g. 72” on a veil is roughly the diameter of the circle before the veil is finished.
3. Most veils are two tier, which means that the original circle of tulle has been folded to create a veil with two layers - one shorter than the other.
4. How far a veil will fall and how it will look depends on:
a. where you are planning to wear it - at the front, on top, or at the back of your head.
b. Your height.
With the above in mind, the following are approximate measurements for two tier veils in the lengths offered, so measure from where the comb will be on your head to guage the finished length:

54” Veil (shoulder length) - short tier approx. 25” / bottom tier approx. 29”

72” Veil (waist length) - short tier approx. 30” / bottom tier approx. 40”

90” Veil (thigh length) - short tier approx. 30” / bottom tier approx. 60”

108” Veil - (floor length) - short tier approx. 28” / bottom tier approx. 80”

126” Veil - (chapel length) - short tier approx. 28” / bottom tier approx. 98”

132” Veil - (cathedral length) - short tier approx. 27” / bottom tier approx. 105”

144” Veil - (cathedral length) - short tier approx. 27” / bottom tier approx. 117”
